Canteen
A great feature that we were able to include as part of the expansion! While not a full kitchen, this canteen / servery will give the Student Action Leadership Team (“SALT”, which is TCS’s student council) a great location to store and serve refreshments, snacks, and pre-made food at school and sporting events.
The canteen room has windows to both the foyer and gymnasium making it ideal for serving coffee or other beverages for school and church community events.
Foyer
For anyone who has attended large group events, sporting events, or just watched students arrive in the school prior to class, sufficient space in the entryway/foyer is very necessary. The foyer provides space for lockers necessary for the students attending class in this facility. This is also the space where guests would hang up their coats and be welcomed into group events. Regardless of the facility use at the time, the entry way will be well appreciated
Storage room
The storage of sports equipment is often challenging due to the space it requires. Equipment is currently stored wherever possible, which includes small storage spaces within the school and the unheated and unsecured garage at the west end of the parking lot. The storage room will have double-door access to the gym, and just off to the side of that, exterior double-door access to the exterior sports fields.
