13 long months after we applied for the development permit, it has finally been released. After meeting with Remuda, the school board has requested them to move forward with the next steps, culminating with the building permit application. It is hoped that the building permit would be received by late spring with a potential construction start this summer. While we are quite optimistic, we acknowledge that there’s a lot of work to be done yet!
We will be sending out a list of volunteer labour and contractor opportunities for the construction project. We are asking that everyone personally consider helping out, or reaching out to people/contractors you know who are willing to provide services to assist in keeping the costs down for construction.
We are thankful to our Lord for the blessings he continues to provide, and we pray and trust that He will continue to bless our efforts.
